Gentle Reader

I’m Vanessa and I’ll be your personal coach accompanying you on your journey. Here is a bit more about myself..

Expertise

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Urban & Contemporary Dance from University of West London, where my training went far beyond dance technique. My studies included anatomy, physiology, functional movement, nutrition and the relationship between the body and its physical environment. This gave me a deeper understanding of how the body works and continues to shape the way I teach today.

Over the past seven years of teaching, and throughout my studies, I’ve developed a strong interest in how movement can influence the way we feel, physically and mentally.

For my Bachelor’s research, I explored how somatic methods in contemporary dance could be used as a somatic method to support nervous-system regulation and stress relief. As part of this work, I successfully researched and developed my own movement-based approach, bringing together breath, intentional movement and body awareness in a practical, accessible format.

Mission

I’m passionate about sharing what I’ve learned and helping others build a healthier, more balanced relationship with their bodies. In a world where stress is often difficult to avoid, I believe it’s important to find ways to reconnect with ourselves and support our own well-being. Through my work, I hope to offer people the space and tools to release tension, find relief from everyday stress, and leave feeling lighter, more grounded, and more at home in their bodies.

Teaching

My sessions combine strength, mobility and mindful movement, always adapted to the person in front of me. Whether you want to build strength, improve mobility, reconnect with your body, work towards a specific goal or simply create some space for yourself, the work is shaped around what you need.

I teach with warmth, precision and a lot of attention to detail. I offer clear guidance to help you understand and experience the movement more in depth and with your progress in mind. I draw from years of working with my own body as well as from exercises and techniques I have developed through teaching and practice during the years.

My aim is for you to leave each session feeling stronger, more connected to your body and proud of what you have given to yourself.
